Bulk SMS - Custom Module

            
    Four Simple steps to enable Bulk SMS functionality to any Custom Module.
  1. Create Send SMS Button
  2. Add Lookup Field
  3. Configure Phone Number 
  4. Associate Lookup Field

Create Send SMS Button :

How to create button for Zoho CRM Custom module?

                  

Steps to create Send SMS Button on any custom modules,
  1. Go to Zoho CRM and click on the Setup icon (  )
  2. On the page top search bar, search for "Links and Buttons".
  3. In the left panel select the "Deals" module ( Or any custom module to which buttons need to be enabled)
  4. Click on +New Button
  5. In 
    Create Your Button form, enter the data as below, (Note : please create below button based on your SMS service )


                  



What would you like to name the button? - Send RingCentral SMS











                   Where would you like to place the button? - View Page ( Or any page as per the need)
                  What action would you like the button to perform? - Open a Widget

                In the new popup, Click on  + Create New Widget. In the form enter the data as below,
                    Name - Send SMS - Ringcentral 
                    Widget Type - Button
                    Hosting - External 
                    Base URL - https://alpha.oapps.xyz/client/omessage/extension/index.html?action=a&serviceName=zc&topBar=false&sideBar=false&rightServiceName=Twilio&leftServiceId=f1ad428a-41ea-469a-8733-1071351ba6c7&rightServiceId=b283ff18-8107-4a33-b35e-21f2b58bbb75

                After successfully adding the new widget, click on Send SMS - Ringcentral's Install button 

                  Which profile(s) should see this button? - Administrator ( Select the profile to which this button is to be shown)

          6. Click on the Save button. 

Add Lookup Field :

  1. Go to Zoho CRM and click on the Setup icon (  )
  2. On the page top search bar, search for "Modules".
  3. Scroll down and search for SMS History module ( Twilio / Ringcentral / Plivo / Telnyx )
  4. Click on corresponding SMS History module.
  5. Click on your default layout. ( By default, Standard)
  6. Drag and Drop Lookup field & Name the field. ( Example name : Module's name_Lookup)
    1. Field Label - CustomModuleName_Lookup ( Deals_Lookup)
    2. Lookup Module - Custom Module for which the button created.
    3. Related List Title - SMS History Name ( Twilio SMS History)
    4. Click on Save
  7. All Done, Lookup Field Created. 

Configure Phone Number 

  1. Click on Custom Button created for Custom Module.
  2. Click on Configure Phone numbers under To number box.
  3. In the new popup map the Primary phone, Secondary 1& 2 phone fields.
  4. This mapping will auto populate Phone numbers to Send SMS window's To field.
  5. For associate lookup field please follow the below steps.

Associate Lookup Field : 

  1. Create Lookup custom field in SMS History Module.
  2. Map the Lookup field, in the Associate Lookup Field, select the module's lookup field.
